Spoke Chair - 2009

Early in my design journey, I spent countless hours pursuing experiments that deepened my understanding of woodworking and eventually led me to build a small workshop where ideas could take form.

Inspired by Jean Prouvé’s Antony Chair, this design reinterprets the balance of bent plywood and industrial metal. By rethinking the structure, I sought to make the most of locally sourced Ash, highlighting material integrity and sustainability. The open frame invites light and shadow to play across its surfaces, revealing the chair’s construction with clarity and intent.
