Halyard Bench for IFDA Asahikawa - 2008

The Halyard Bench features tapered legs and a perimeter made of laminated Ash and Wenge, combined with the tension of interwoven black halyard rope. This experimental bench explores unconventional methods for group seating. It was a finalist in the 2008 International Furniture Design Competition held in Asahikawa, Japan.
